Most people pay attention to fashion in small doses which is a very healthy way to approach it. They make sure wardrobes are in step with the times and even indulge in a trend or two each season.

What is Asian FASHION?

Speaking of ASIAN FASHION, everybody might come up with different definition. I'm not going to list out what other people define what is Asian fashion, so I would go with my own definition. There is no right or wrong about this definition, so you're free to define what is Asian fashion really means to you.

When it comes to Asian fashion, I would personally define this as fashion from Asian countries such as Japan, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Korea. Asian fashion can also be fashion from other Asian countries which I have not mentioned but the reason why I mention Japan, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Korea because these countries emit strong fashion influence not just in Asian countries but also in America and Europe itself.

• Reason no.1 - High quality with affordable price

  Just because it is made in China, that doesn't mean it's low quality

  I don't know where you're from but I'm honestly enough to say here that I'm from Malaysia. When I showed our website to another local entrepreneur, the first thing that she noticed was the price. Even though the base price is in USD and the converted currency is in MYR, you can change it to another currency if you really want to but the website can only be converted into major currencies. I'm not going to say it here since it has nothing to do with what I'm going to talk about. Speaking of the price, the price can be as expensive as the kind of clothes that you can get in Miss Selfridge and TopShop so what shocks her the most is most of the clothes are from China and Taiwan!
  
  From her reaction, I can guess that she thinks that I could never penetrate the local market since people are expecting that clothes from China shouldn't be that expensive. I hate to admit the harsh reality here but most of the branded clothes are manufactured in China and yes, I'm talking about the reputable brands here. Obviously they wouldn't reveal that the clothes are manufactured in China. Even all of the Nike shoes are manufactured in Vietnam in order to reduce production cost and increase profit margins.
  
  Let me make this clear to everybody - there is a reason why the clothes are expensive even if it's from China. Expensive price always come in combo which is quality and brand. The reason why clothes from China are expensive because the clothes have brands attached to them and they are using high quality materials to manufacture the clothes. I used to have a doubt before about the quality but when I take a look at the clothes myself, it does emits the high quality feeling. I always believe in this phrase - you'll get what you paid for. If you pay less, you'll get a similar design with the quality cut into half.
  
  If you think you should pay less just because it's a local brand, think again. If you live or have been to Malaysia, you may have noticed a shoe shop called Lewre. Truth to be told, I didn't know that it's actually a local brand until I've read about it in a local fashion magazine. Looking at the price tag, it's not the kind of price I would pay for a pair of shoes. But then again, Lewre is a local brand gone international. So this is a reason why a pair of shoes can be so pricey for most people. Same goes for brands available in our online store such as Vivicam, Loyer, Emiyu and Sveta. It is pricey but you don't have to worry so much that you need to sacrifice your arms or legs only to purchase the clothes in our store. The price range is between $20 - $50 for all clothes (dresses, tops, shirts and coats). Like I said, if you want high quality products that last long and worth your INVESTMENTin the long run, don't be a cheapskate and splurge a bit. Whether you think it's affordable or not, it's still up to you how you define the word affordable here.

  Asian fashion can never be out of style

  Lately, whenever I flipped through fashion magazinesuch as Cleo and Seventeen, I noticed that the clothes designs are getting dull. I know that I'm not that interested in knowing the latest fashion trends on the runaway but I always feel excited whenever they recommend something that can imitate the fashion from runaway. I feel so excited about it because what they recommend always look better on the mere mortal than the one featured on the fashion show. Somehow, that kind of feeling has dissipated little by little the more I look at the clothes featured in the mag. Some people may denote this as trendy but for me it looks bizarre. I have no idea what kind of trends they want us to adopt, but frankly speaking the clothes will only look tacky on you whether you wear it the right way or the wrong way. In a simple way, I can say that the clothes look awful and turns me off!
  
  I admit that Asian Fashion also shares the same deal like the Western Fashion because some of the designs can look so bizarre and unattractive. Trends come and go but somehow, Asian Fashion will never go out of style because it has unique and classy design. What I noticed from Asian Fashion is that it really enhance your beauty and thanks to the unique design, it will make you feel youthful. Because of this, by browsing through Asian Fashion collection is more than enough to excite me like never before. I never have this kind of feeling with the clothes I've seen on Cleo and Seventeen but it's a different thing when it comes to Asian Fashion. The design in Asian Fashion are mostly free size so it can flatter whatever body shape you have. Now, can you tell me where you can get lovely design in free size?

  Reason no.3 - Simple and can be worn in any occasion

  Release your inner creativity to suit the occasion

  Yes, I also see the same thing in Cleo and Seventeen where you can wear the same piece of clothes with any other pieces to create the unique look for any occasion. Going back to reason no.2, my ultimate formula when it comes to this matter is bizarre looking clothes will remain bizarre no matter how many normal looking pieces combined together. At the end of the day, simplicity is definitely the best choice. I know that simplicity is not the right thing to adopt if you want to be the center of the attraction, but what's the point of being the center of the attraction if you only attract the wrong kind of attention? It's up to you whether you want to make people's jaw dropped to the floor or giggle behind your back but as much as the trends are concerned, bizarre looking style seems inappropriate in most occasion.
  
  In most Asian Fashion brands I've seen so far, the designs are simple and can be worn in any occasion. Due to its simple design, it's easy for you to combine with other pieces to create a new look for any occasion. I'm not a fashion expert but I do admit that combining simple design with another design is a breeze and will never make me look out of place. Of course, this simple combination of clothes can make you look sexy and elegant too.

  Is Asian Fahsion better than Western Fashion?

  To be honest, Asian Fashion and Western Fashion really does share the fair pros and cons so it's up to you what do you really think about Asian Fashion. The reason why I'm so intoAsian Fashion is because I'm so sick with the fashion featured in the magazine and I'm always looking for something that makes me look pretty. I find that Asian Fashion suits me more compared to Western Fashion because Asian Fashion doesn't look so overpowering. I do believe that Asian Fashion will look good on anyone but then again, it's all up to your judgment as fashion is a subjective issue.

  This is a brand that I personally love not because the models are pretty, but it's because the clothes emits the elegant feeling, classy and most important thing it makes you look like a fabulous fashionista.

  2. Emiyu Collection - It has simple design and at the same time making you look pretty and fashionable. The best part is most of the clothes are in pastel colors so it's a must buy if you love pastel color clothes.
  3. Sveta - Even though it's meant for younger girls (teenage to be precise), the range also features bright and pastel color clothes with fun looking design. Wearing the clothes from this range will make you look younger and edgy
